Ashley Thon, Attorney Federated Insurance

Ashley is an attorney and currently serves as Legal Counsel at Federated Life Insurance Company. She is originally from the Mankato area but through her family ties to Owatonna and employment opportunities, she started working in Owatonna in 2015. Soon after she relocated to Owatonna where she now lives with her husband and son. She loves running, bow hunting, fishing, and cooking. ​

As an attorney, Ashley has a breadth of experience ranging from public defense work, private practice, and in-house counsel which complement the needs of the organization.  Through her experiences, she learned the importance of attention to detail and listening when assisting clients. Her work has exposed her to the importance of HHO and its impact in the Owatonna community.  Ashley’s desire to be engaged in the community and support HHO’s function in the Owatonna brought her to the Hospitality House of Owatonna.
