Maureen Schlobohm, Retired Community Pathways of Owatonna

Maureen has worked in the non-profit world for most of her adult life. She has been blessed to have had the opportunity to work with and get to know some wonderful people along the way. Most recently she was co-director of Community Pathways. She retired in December of 2021 and has been enjoying spending time with friends, family and especially her two grandchildren. She also enjoy the outdoors, traveling and reading.

Through her work at Community Pathways, she learned first-hand the daily struggles of some of our community members. Homelessness was a problem that is observed often, and she found it sometimes difficult to assist individuals in finding shelter even for the night. Not knowing where one is going to sleep at night can be an overwhelming and incapacitating feeling. Hospitality House provides a much-needed service in assisting individuals transitioning through difficult situations by providing a secure, clean, and friendly place to get back on track. She is excited to be joining the board of directors and to assist an organization that plays such a significant role in our community.
